Privacy Policy
Last updated August 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Opah (“Opah,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Opah website and application (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider collects your email address and name so we can create and secure your account.
Billing information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor collects your payment details to charge you. Your full card number is handled by the processor and is never stored by Opah.
Your inputs. The artists you choose to track and the playbooks you build are stored so we can generate your analysis.
Aggregated platform data. To power the Service, we collect information that is already publicly available about the artists you track — for example, public streaming, advertising, and social metrics exposed by Spotify, the Meta Ad Library, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. This data is about artists you research, who may not be Opah users themselves.
Usage and technical data. Like most web services, we automatically receive basic technical data (such as device and browser information and log data) needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, maintain, and improve the Service and its analysis;
- create your account, authenticate you, and process your subscription;
- respond to your requests and provide support;
- monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and keep the Service secure;
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Service providers we share data with
We share information only with the providers we rely on to run the Service, each limited to what they need for their function:
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Opah, our users, or the public.
4. Cookies
We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in, to operate the Service, and to record how you first arrived — for example, which link or post you clicked to get here. We use that last one only to understand which of our own channels bring people to Opah. It is stored on our own systems and is never shared or sold.
If you reach Opah from an advertisement, the advertising platform’s own measurement tools may also set cookies so that we can tell which advertisement worked. Those tools are governed by that platform’s privacy policy, not ours. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. We retain the aggregated platform data to provide historical trends and to keep your analysis meaningful over time. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal account data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it to meet a legal or accounting obligation.
6. Security
We use reputable infrastructure providers and reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to respond promptly to any issue.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the address below and we will respond as required by applicable law (including the GDPR and CCPA where they apply).
8. Children
Opah is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
9. International users
Opah is operated from the United States, and your information may be processed there and in the countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
